The good stuff

If you’re someone who already has a manuscript and just needs to format it into a proper ePub file, Sigil - Download for Windows is worth grabbing. It’s free, open-source, and gets the job done without all the bloat. But if you’re starting from zero and want help drafting, this isn’t the app for you. Stick with Calibre for conversion, or use something like Scrivener if you’re serious about writing. For pure editing and formatting? Sigil’s still one of the best free options out there. Go ahead and download it-it won’t cost you a dime, and it might save you a headache.
