The combat is tight and familiar, which makes sense since it’s built on the base game’s systems. But the real win is the perspective shift. Seeing the empire from his eyes - not as a backdrop, but as a crumbling system he once served - adds layers to the world. It’s like a missing puzzle piece that suddenly makes everything click. If you liked the tone of the main game, this feels like a natural extension.

The not-so-good

It’s only about an hour or two of gameplay, so don’t expect a full campaign. And yeah, you absolutely need the base game and must finish that specific chapter first - no skipping. That’s fair, but it limits who can even try it. Also, there’s no new mechanics or exploration outside of cutscenes and dialogue. It’s pure narrative with some combat set pieces.
